Someone please tell me how to get effects on my scene!
watcher570  (2016)
what type of effects are you looking for ?
Candygirl2007  (2016)
Any type of effect
nheiges  (2016)
It's a great scene - I like the title, too.

When you save your picture, look below the area where you type the title. You will see "Effects." Choose an effect and click "Apply." If you don't like it, click "Undo" and try something else.

@Candygirl2007 I changed your original paint patterns by clicking on the paint icons.I also made your scene shiny to show you other effects. I hope this helps.

watcher570  (2016)

@candygirl2007, You can go to your Portfolio and click on any scene to bring up a page to give the scene a title or caption or add 2D effects. (This is the same set of options you get when you first save the scene, but you can do it at anytime later on too via the Portfolio listing)

Hi @Candygirl2007 Welcome, You're off to a great start. The wonderful thing about Wordseye is you can play around with your scenes and discover new ways of doing things all the time. I've been with Wordseye for a year as of a couple of days ago and I'm still finding new ways of doing things. Like @nheiges said, if you read the text under the different scenes you can see what is done to get them. Also, if you click on the thumbnails at the righ when you add an object it will give you different choices for that object, that includes choices for the 'ground' and 'sky'. To get different 'effects' you need to "Save and Continue" this takes you to the next page. This is where you can try out different 'effects ' on your scene. If you don't like what you get you can 'undo' the last effect or you can "Revert" to the original image you started with by clicking on either of those buttons so either way you don't have to worry about messing up. :-) That's the fun part and the best way to learn because there's no fear. on your image I gave it a different 'ground' and [paint] texture on the mountain by clicking on the thumbnails at the right and choosing one. then on the effects page after I saved it I 'sharpened',inverted', saturationed' and 'solarized' it. Have fun and if you stumble on a problem just ask we're all here to help. Render On :-0

@candygirl2007 - did you say you're using the app? There are some things you can't get to from the app - like 2D effects and rendering in High Definition. You need to log in to the wordseye.com website for those.
