that's a funny/interesting idea that among all the appropriated elements in this scene (richard's floating/encased manatee motif and the two images), that there's another one that's missing that was stolen from it!

Manatees are very curious. Just because the phrase only ever mentions cats doesn't mean it can't include manatees. Why do you think they're endangered?

well one was swimming around in the hudson river recently. that's very curious.
