Better enjoyed opening in a new tab and zooming in.

interesting...been awhile...nice seeing you back around!!

I'm always so happy with the reception to the stuff I make around here! So from time to time I mess around with stuff to see if I get any inspiration or something interesting but very rarely.

I don't login very much within a single month except when I've recently published something or if I start creating something I like, I stick around for longer messing with it until I'm satisfied.

Truth be told, I try a lot more stuff than I actually publish.

I like to be minimalistic and use as little text as possible, messing more with the effects, trying to create something that might looks as if it not even has been made on a software, if possible.

I try to login at least a few times a year to get some inspiration for other stuff or when I'm trying to get something out of my head, like sadness or grief.

This one, for example, is to represent the nuances of my anxiety during this Covid times in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Wavy shapes like the sea and the mountains in a very dark scenario, barely visible due to very little light spots, as I feel being inside my room with curtains down almost never going out except to walk my dog during a terrible time both over public health and a constant political mayhem and financial tribulations.

I tried to make it look like a painting because I've been messing with this "painting" style for several images for a while.
Out of my last 8 images, 4 were made to look like they were paintings and I really like that effect of either a canvas or cracked paint.

Thanks for the tip on zooming in - it wasn't the same from the (non-zoomable) iPhone app

Lots of these effects are actually very detailed and even on the computer version, the non-zoomed image doesn't do it justice.

As I use them all the time, I noticed that several of my images lose almost half if not more of their impact without zooming in on those details.

On my recent "Dreams and Nightmares" for example if you zoom-in, there is even what seems to be light reflecting on the paint of the "cracked paint" effect which gives even more the illusion of it being an actual painting photograph instead of something created here.

The "canvas", "cracked paint" and "blobby paint" effects are all like that.
At HD, when you zoom in, its enough to make your jaw drop.
