Cute.*br**br*I like the way the mountains give the illusion of snow.*br*

Ceci is right that there's something wrong with the way shadows fall on reflective surfaces.

looks fine to me.*br**br*i thought she was talking about wanting refraction through the water, which is something different.

Maybe I was misinterpreting what she meant. But in any case the shadows on the shiny surface look to "hard" to me.*br*

Ok, so rather than a planar reflective surface, you're probably thinking of frozen ice which has some transparency and depth that scatters the shadows and reflections too. I'm sure that could be modeled in one way or another. Note however that all we have here is a planar surface that's reflective. I think you'd have to give it some transparency and depth (and the right material properties) to get that sort of effect.*br**br*There's also a more general issue of soft shadows (not just on reflective surfaces). This is supported by schocastic ray tracing but takes longer to compute. It'll be interesting to try at some point.

Scattering is probably what I am trying to get at.*br*
