@susu I happened on an image when I tried [rot] for a texture that I thought might be useful for rain but it seems it worked a bit better for fog. Still, all in all, I think it could definitely be improved on. Maybe you could have a go at it. :-) oh and thanks
susu  (2016)
@nanook i'm trying... but it's not that easy even to reproduce the effect...
Nanook  (2016)
@susu I hear you, I'm still playing with it too, but ?????........
susu  (2016)

okay, to reproduce it, i have to give the texture a size to achieve a similar blur of the texture....
Nanook  (2016)
That's kind of odd because in mine I didn't...interesting. btw looks great. oh, and I used the blur effect to soften it.
nheiges  (2016)

I love these, @Nanook and @susu. I see the text, but I would never have come up with it! I tried a different version of "rot" and watercolor - it looks kind of rainy, I think.
Nanook  (2016)
@nheiges I left a comment under your pic. The 'watercolor' effect is interesting, might need to go back and try it on some of the earlier attempts at rain. thanks. :-)

nice effect!
susu  (2016)

was trying to overlay different structures of different sizes. But this won't work. The textures seem to behave accidently. and there even is a difference in the texture's effect if you render the whole stuff in HD.
