Oh my word, I so feel for your dog (don't know if it's his or hers) been there too many times. Really miss those times even as stressful as they were!!
nheiges (2017)
How about a new 4-legged friend in 2017? Could you? I'll introduce my dog: her name is Bonnie and she is a mostly white Border Collie.
Nanook (2017)
such a nice sentiment, I so love those guys! My last one was a border terrier (not a familiar breed, though hedgehog1965 is probably familiar with it).
KAWE (2017)
your dog looks not very happy
nheiges (2017)
No, she was not very happy, @KAWE. Between the terrifying fireworks and thoughts of the impending inauguration, she thought her best bet was to hide under the furniture.
nheiges (2017)
@Nanook, just googled Border Terrier, what a cute little dog!
hedgehog1965 (2017)
I've seen a few border terriers around, but my favourite's the west highland white terrier. Never had one though, when I was growing up we had a cat instead... which looked a lot like watcher570 :-)
nheiges (2017)
Hamish Macbeth had one of those lovely dogs. :-) The Scots have given the world some great dogs.
Nanook (2017)
the border terriers are often called otter dogs because their face looks like an otters face ;-) (Percy knew all of his stuffed squeaker toys by name).
nheiges (2017)
:-) Dogs are so much fun. I'm sure I'd be equally enthusiastic about cats if I weren't allergic to them.
