This has got to be the saddest movie ever, made even sadder by the fact that it is based on a true story.

trust me, you won't want to watch it a second time, I did because my husband hadn't seen it and I even told him it was beyond sad.....I won't watch it a third time I assure you..I can't bear the sadness that poor dog endured, it just breaks my heart. I cried half the night just thinking about it.

You can read if you want to determine if you can watch it ...it is set in the U.S. with a bit of artistic license but the story is still there. Sorry, didn't mean to adversely affect your decision, just wanted to give fair warning. It does have some warm moments .
