caverns are so cool, we have a lot of them 'round these parts, just had a rescue in one in the San Antonio area last week..lasted overnight when a high school girl was caught in a rock formation while exploring the cavern on a high school field trip. it ended well.

Poor girl, but glad she got out! The cave we visited was well set up for tourists - no places to get stuck or even veer off the path. The tour guide described the original spelunker crawling through a 2 foot wide by 4 for high tunnel for hours before finding a spot where he could stand. I think I'm a little too claustrophobic for that!
